Hetty was living an ordinary life, working in an ordinary job, until one night she unwittingly witnessed a murder, which was bad enough, but then they came after her too, so she ran. Zach was hiding from life, his experiences while in the Army had left him unable, or unwilling, to spend time with other people any more. All that changed on the night when Hetty's car became airborne after leaving the road, and ended up nose first in his dam. Now all he had to do was work out what she was running from, and what that was going to mean to him.
