Rumspringa

Is a good, and enjoyable billionaire small town age gap workplace romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, likable, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining heartwarming read. I really enjoyed listening to this book Odessa Alba did a really great job with both writing and the narration.

Loved the story

I really enjoyed the story! I was nervous at first about reading, I was worried with there being an Amish theme around it it would take a deep dive into their ways, ect. It isn't that that would be a bad thing but when reading a contemporary romance for me that would take away from the story. (To each their own, I'm just not a nonfiction person) However I was happy that it did not, it had their ways and rules but it didn't solely focus on that. I couldn't put the story down. I loved Velda and Ansel. I can't wait to read more. I actually haven't read book 1 so they can be read as a standalone.

Ansel and Velda

Ansel and Velda’s slow-burn romance was a very well written story. Watching Velda grow into her confidence and finally go after what she wanted was a joy to listen to. The story gave us just the right balance of sweet, smoldering, and empowering. The author delivered a wonderfully engaging listen, and the narration brought it to life with charm and clarity.

Sweet

A sweet Amish girl, Velda wants to experience life before she settles into a marriage and her restricted life. Ansel Wolf who could suffer his deceased father’s heart condition if he continues to eat unhealthy needs to start taking better care of what he eats. He meets and later asks Velda to hire on as his cook after sampling a delicious healthy soup at the market in town. There is a sweet attraction to Ansel and Velda wants to experience her first everything with him. Ansel fights his attraction to the sweet and beautiful Amish girl and tries to find every reason to keep their relationship strictly business but she is making it very difficult for him to say no. This story tells about the curiosity and determination of a sweet girl and the wanting of an experienced man who keeps his passion for that girl under control. At least for as long as he can before she breaks him down. Passion ignites between the two and Velda doesn’t want to go back to her life as an Amish woman but she know if she doesn’t she will be shunned and never see her family again. What choice does she make? I was surprised at first but then came understanding. I listened to the audiobook and the narration was amazing and so was the storyline. A must read if you like steamy hot romances.
