Seems to be a toxic relationship

I'm not sure about this story; it feels a bit toxic and doesn't quite resonate with me.

The narrators were good

This book was all over the place. I couldn’t discern a single character build up neither a solid storyline. I understand the need to appear whimsy but even the most whimsy people have some depth in them otherwise they wouldn’t be worth the effort. I mean how did the male character fall for that woman? How did the female character fall for that guy? Were they both that shallow that they deserved each other? Quite honestly, that’s the only conclusion I’m drawing from the book. But I don’t know if these characters are worth writing about. You usually read or listen to a book to find the depth lacking from a reality of isolation or to pass some enjoyable hours while your hands are occupied.
Truthfully the only reason I kept on listening were the narrators (the only bright point) and their effort to make something out of whatever this was and because my hands were too deep in clay while I was working on my sculpture. I tried, I really tried to get behind the storyline but couldn’t. I don’t like leaving negative comments but this had me baffled and angered and disappointed

Odd story line

I’m still not even really sure what this story was about. There isn’t much of a plot and the character building is lacking. I definitely found several things confusing or even weird. Lord of discussions of poop for a romance novel too which is just odd.

Gave up on Chapter 7

I couldn’t finish it. The story, character development, and romance were not good. I’ve listened to about 200 contemporary romance books this year, my bar is fairly low. This one isn’t worth my time.

worst audible book ever

No meaningful story. Not a single likeable character. Never buying this author again. Love Tor Thom, but other than his voice this is blech.

I hated everything about this and I also hate myself for finishing this book.

This book is crap and the narrator has no inflection. I couldn’t listen to this a moment longer. I want my money back. Don’t waste your time and money on this book.

This book is bipolar. It goes from here to there the characters are going from here to there without any rationale

DNF Not funny Dumpsterfire

Do not purchase or start. Horrific writing, ridiculous plot, terrible voiceovers.

When she took off her red panties for her drunk boss after the second week, I knew this chic wasn't serious about her job and this was heading downhill fast.

And what was wrong with her best friend talking about sex with her boss to the HR lady before she even knew she was cool?? She could have gotten fired... again. Don't need to read about the side characters.

There's a fine line between comedy and cringe. This dumpsterfire is cringe worthy.

Could not finish

The storyline was all over the place and the whiplash of hot and cold was ridiculously way too much to follow. I really tried to like this book but couldn’t finish it. I think the author had great ideas, but when they were pushed all together, it just became a jumbled mess.
