The writer found a way to keep the male lead an alpha even while feeding. Which is something I’ve only ever seen as an act of submission. But never again! Lol
I also like that he stayed the same. He wasn’t suddenly cured or gone soft. His issues stayed which gives the female lead a kind of superpower that protects everyone from him.
I can’t wait to start the next book in this series. But I do wish they used human narrators. However, compared to other virtual voices, this one is tolerable. I would suggest using a male version for the chapters with the male leads pov. It helps break up the monotone.
