The story was captivating but virtual voice? Not so much!

Well, obviously I don’t think virtual voice is where it needs to be yet. However, I imagine it is much cheaper than a voice actor, especially for an indie writer. Who knows, we may actually go back to paper books!

The writing kept me totally engrossed. The characters were well fleshed with virtues and faults. I think it is difficult to fathom the courage and determination it took for pioneers to forge ahead for hopefully a better future. The writer did a good job of putting the reader in place and time. I hope the author continues her work. I will be looking for any future publications by her. Thanks for including it as an Audible Unlimited selection.
