The tabloids are hunting them. Their families are turning on them. Can their love survive?
Despite the odds, Princess Arabella of Avonia and rugged outdoorsman Will Banks fell in love while filming a reality show in the jungle. But that's another story.
While she's making room in the royal closet for his hiking boots and backpacks - right next to the crown jewels - the show's producers are editing together film footage that could turn their romance into nothing more than a showmance.

(spoilers) It’s so sad that no matter who you are as a couple, ppl thrive on tearing you apart and never giving good advice. Imagine being a high priority couple like them where the entire kingdom and your own families are rooting for you to fail. I was SO mad at Arthur in this one for getting in Arabella’s head but I know where his heart was coming from. I was surprised and disappointed with Tessa for not offering Arabella more comfort as she went through the same thing. I loved the symbolic shell that Will gave her and I hated how the media tried to poison that too.
Dylan truly is a super villain and my first thoughts when the audio got out was the queen’s secret that Arabella had blabbed in the jungle. I’m shocked that’s not the first thing she thought of but she was under a lot of stress. Will totally should have told Arabella what was going on but I understand why he didn’t. She evolves heavily throughout the story but she doesn’t realize the difference between being empowered and then just cruel. My heart literally was tearing in two the night she stupidly ended things. On the phone when he said “goodnight my sweet belle” I was legit bawling. I knew they’d get back together but their temporary separation was crushing even for me. I wish Arabella had just thrown herself into his arms at the end of the live finale, especially after seeing the loving goodbye he’d filmed when he thought he was dying.
I was very proud of Arabella throughout the book but she takes her independence too far when she abandons their relationship bc it isn’t perfect. I’m so glad Gran set her straight and basically called her a moron for letting him go over one fight. And I’m glad she acknowledged that it was unfair of her that she didn’t tell him she’d changed her mind about the full mexit! He sacrificed so much for her and only had the best intentions at heart, nothing he did was out of malice. I’m glad the deal he made with Dylan proved himself to Arthur and the rest of the royal family.
This series brings me so much joy and I really wish they would just make it a movie or tv series already!
Team Will all the way!!!

I was not impressed with this story. Of course, I had to speed through several chapters, avoiding that horrible narrator's voice. As with the first book, the character of Will was really hard to like. Who ditchws their girlfriend when she was being thrown to the wolves? Arabella was built up to be a kick-butt, take charge kind of gal at the end of the previous book, And yet she in this second installment, she puts up with everyone putting her down and treating her like a doormat.again. I guess she really didn't learn anything from her "wild experience" and the character that the author tried to portray as a dynamic, evolving semi-heroine was just another static whiny, female with loser boyfriend.
I've thoroughly enjoyed some of this author's other works so perhaps this spinoff book/series is just a slapdash effort to get a little more roll from the Royal triology? Unfortunately it's disappointing, even as lighthearted chick lit goes. I don't know if I'm up for the third installment.
meh, horrible narrator

Love the author
Great “beach reads”
Appreciate them on audible so when driving or crafting or otherwise busy can enjoy the stories read to me! Better than tv as seeing is not required.
BUT
Bruce Mann is a terrible reader. This desperately needs to be noticed. Many reviewers say similar. Please have this trio re-read!
Make reader needs to be eliminated from audible readers list.
