Romans: When we need transformation

I invite you into the process I use to dig out just what God has for me in this letter from Paul, so that you too may know the satisfaction of finding God’s Spirit is sufficient in illuminating His Word to your mind and applying it to your heart and life, unlike the spoon-feeding that most books on Romans provide. It is when we engage the Word of God through the Spirit of God that we will find our lives are changed as He conforms us the image of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God is found in the gospel and the gospel is the theme of Paul’s letter to the Romans. It is power of God for salvation, but it is also more. This study is sub-titled, When we need transformation, since that is the chief design behind how God uses the gospel for this transformation in our lives. Sometimes that transformation is a most pleasant experience and other times it is most painful as the God who created you and me realigns our hearts to His heart and transforms our minds to His thinking. I hope that intrigues you and motivates you to take up this study with to learn from the God who calls into relationship with Himself by faith in His Son.
