Would Absolutely recommend it.... Excellent narration by actress Kathy Garver.... An eye opener on the life of Betty Hutton!

I didn't know a lot about Betty Hutton's life, so I enjoyed learning the numerous intimate details of Betty's career... how she got started, her determination and her setbacks...

Have you listened to any of Kathy Garver’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have... Kathy's voice performance/interpretation is always top notch.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed the information about Betty's background, including her mother and family members and also the part about "Annie Get Your Gun."

Well done, Kathy.... What a professional she is....

Absolutely. The opportunity to hear Kathy Garver interpret the words in a stellar reading is too good to miss. A book (either e or paper) could never compare.

There is no comparison. this book and the performance behind it render all other biographies irrelevant.

What does Kathy Garver bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her read is excellent. Every word crisp and clear. I am hearing impaired and frequently have difficulty with audio books. Not in this case. I would listen to Kathy Garver read the downtown Manhattan telephone directory. (It's not available, is it?)

I both laughed and cried. Frequently at the same time.

This account was very entertaining much due to Kathy Garver who brought it to life with narration that was excellent. Her energy is on a par with Betty Hutton's. It brings back many fond memories and insight.
