A serial killer picked the wrong single mom to frame for murder.
Federal agent Celia Saber wasn’t the last person to see her ex-husband alive.
But she was the only one who threw a knife at him - in front of a dozen witnesses.
Now, she’s framed for murder, suspended from her job, and out of options to clear her name.
She’ll turn to the one man who can help, her smokin’ hot former fling.
Flint Mendota has tried his best to stay away from his boss’s sister.
But he’ll do anything when she asks for his help.
Including travel to the last place on earth he ever wanted to see again.
This couple might get a second chance at romance if a serial killer doesn’t get them first.
Fans of J.D. Robb, Janet Evanovich, and Freida McFadden might like this series.
Rock, Saber, Scissors is the first book in the complete Saber Sisters series.
Each book is an interconnected standalone novel with dual POV, a spicy combo of romantic suspense, a few laughs, and a guaranteed happy ending (and happily ever after).
All of the couples are over 40.

Shut the front door, Son of a biscuit eater was only cute so many times, considering she was in her mid to late 40s, possibly early 50s; but the fact that the author continued with this easy if speaking throughout the book, stopped being funny and just got annoying. second, for someone who's supposed to be genius level like Celia is, her speech is very immature. she makes up words like "stick-ectomy" and "head-ectomy". I just felt like she was missing that level of maturity you get with a divorced mother of adult twin boys. speaking of... the twins were complete douche canoes, jerks, brats and Celia had absolutely no control over them because they walked all over her from jump. and she's supposed to be a Hispanic woman .. I have NEVER seen a child speak to their Hispanic mother or treat her the way these two did and still lived to the the tale because are you breaking crazy (exaggerating, but am I?). not that I missed them but am this stuff is going on with Celia and where are those boys..M.I.A. the author doesn't mention them again until the end. WTF. there are some laugh out loud funny moments in the book but then there are moments where the author was trying too hard to be funny and for me it just fell flat. I also felt like there was too much going on .. like there were different conflicts within the book and not much resolution. I wish I could say that I liked this story but I really did not. and to push me over the edge, there were a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, the virtual voice was not reading words correctly, the failed attempt at humor, "clean cursing" just was all too much for me to read this author again without some considerable time for me to forget this one. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
virtual voice should not be allowed on audible... EVER!
