The first book in the Robby's Quest children's storybook series.

Robby is a Robin who has teamed up with his brother Ricky and some other birds, namely the perky Sparrow family, a group of Mourning Doves and Benny the Blackbird. In this story, the group of lifelong feathery friends decides to fly south to Florida for the winter.

Along the way, Joy, the youngest Sparrow, strays from the flock and lands in the backyard of Hershey, a very determined and hungry cat. Her parents and some of the other birds form a search party and hope they find her before it's too late.

The birds continue on their journey, only to discover their winter home has been destroyed by a hurricane. There's no food and nowhere to build a nest. The little flock is hungry and exhausted. Should the birds stay and hope for the best? Or should they use their last energy to carry on flying west to Arizona?

Robby's Quest for Seed is a story about leadership, teamwork and friendship both children and parents will enjoy.

Very good book

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hershey the Cat. Hershey tries to catch the birds but fails miserably

Have you listened to any of Tracy Elman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Listened to some of her commercials. Tracy does an outstanding job of switching characters during the book

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, the book is just long enough to listen in one sitting

I see someone gave this book a low rating with no comments to back it up. I think this person needs to step up and explain why this story only deserves 1 star. Probably someone with an ax to grind. They were not listening to the same book I heard. People put a great deal of themselves into what they write, edit, illustrate and publish. This book has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars with 15 reviews on Amazon.

Great read-aloud voice. Just needed some more expression in dramatic scenes. Overall - good job!

Some parts were funny.

Robby's Quest for Seed is a color illustrated book and is also available on Audible.com as an audiobook. The book is self published by the authors through DCRushBooks. This children's book is beautifully narrated by Tracy Elman. Her voice is soft and soothing with emotion and love and feels like story time at the local library.

Robby's Quest for speed is an adorable children's book. It has a good story about adventure, danger, teamwork, protecting children, and promotion for good work.

I have to say some of the word choices seemed a bit advanced for the reading level of the book. This book will expand your child's vocabulary but young readers may need mom and dad's help with larger words with three and four syllables. 

This book was gifted to me for an honest review.

Would you consider the audio edition of Robby's Quest for Seed to be better than the print version?

I always enjoy Audio version's when in the car with the kids, its a great way to get them into a story...and the narrator was great in keeping their attention.

The overall story of strength, commitment and friendships

The title character "Robby" was a great role model and leader for the other birds

It definitely keeps you entertained and even got us to laugh out loud.
