What a trip!

This was a new to me author, as well as new to me narrators. I was pleasantly surprised by everyone. The story is about Abra (a school counselor) and Kelly (a police officer). From the first paragraph you’re pulled into their worlds. I hate reviews that give too much of the story plot so I’ll just say opposite attracts. The books covers a lot of issues - mental health, caring for family, violence, etc and it does it well. There’s no sugarcoating. I’d definitely grab another book to listen or read by this author. If you’re on the fence about this book, I recommend you try it too!
