epic tale of adventure
loved this book as a teenager and it still ranks as one of the best fantasy adventure stories ever written.

Riverwind the Plainsman.
I have a special place in my heart for Riverwind. This is a fun tale, filled with surprising plot twists and great characters. An excellent addition to the DragonLance Saga. I loved seeing Riverwind’s impossible courting quest fulfilled. It reminds me never to loose faith.

Great story and tremendous characters.
Aother fine read by Paul and a worthy addition to the history of Kyrnn. Riverwinds story is epic all if its own.

another great story
the story was interesting with unexpected twists. the narrator was consistent. this book nicely fills in the previously unexplained gaps in Riverwind's story.

Should have been called "Jeff" not "Riverwind the Plainsman", then it would have been pretty good.
