Acerca de esta escucha
Undercover, the truth can kill—and the lies can bury youThe only thing more dangerous than being a confidential informant? Being an undercover cop.
Steve Regan is back, and this time, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Tasked with posing as a hitman to take down a liberal Australian politician, Regan quickly realizes his “last assignment” is just the beginning. What starts as a murder-for-hire case spirals into the discovery of a sinister white supremacist plot with global implications—one that could topple the UK government. To stop it, Regan must dive even deeper undercover, infiltrating a London CID unit in a deadly game of deception. But the closer he gets to exposing the conspiracy, the more his life—and the lives of those he loves—hang by a thread. Audacious. Gripping. Unforgettable.
If you’re a fan of Lee Child or high-octane thrillers, you’ll love Steve Regan—the ultimate undercover cop.

enjoyable
I enjoyed this story. Steve Reagan is the main character and the author did a good job describing and developing him. Steve is on his last undercover assignment, it's going well till... no spoilers here! Police procedural, corruption, and racism are all part of the plot. I was surprised at the ending.
The narrator was good, used different voices, and spoke clearly. He did try to use different accents some more successfully than others. I listened at 1.3 speed and the story flowed well.
I received a free audible copy from StoryOrigin and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

The Most Dangerous Assignment
This story gripped my attention from the beginning as Steve Regan posed as a hit man hired to assassinate an Australian politician, but when Steve went back to the UK, and he was assigned to a London police department to discover a group of white supremacists, I thought that he had been given his most difficult case ever. I felt for Steve as the case took its toll on his emotions and his life. I was moved by the story, as it was both sad and thought-provoking. I thought Alan R. Gron's narration was fine. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

A tough job for a family man.
Being an undercover cop is no good when you are a family man. This is Steve's last job. Dangerous. Nerve racking. Deadly. Tragic.
I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. The narrator is excellent. He varies his voice for different characters. He is the voice of Steve Reagan to me.
