Deep and rewarding

Wow, this book goes deep into the importance of cultivating a continually flowing, living relationship with the Holy Spirit. The insights and truths in this book have tremendously blessed me and my wife. Dr. Reimer does an excellent job reading his own book as well, which gives even more life to these powerful words.

Great to hear in Rob's Voice

River Dwellers is a seminal read for many who are asking the question "isn't there more to life, more to my faith, more to this journey?" At its original writing the book was very formative for me and listening to Rob share wisdom from the Word and his experience, is a refreshing needed, especially in these difficult days. If you ever struggled in your spiritual journey, this book will give you concrete steps on how you can draw close to God's presence. Since reading this book, I have learned to swim, drink, and play in God's river.

Fantastic exposition of the fullness of the Spirit in the life of the believer

Dr. Reimer carefully and skillfully teaches the Biblical doctrine of the Spirit-filled life. His exposition and applications of the Scriptures is faithful to the text and life-giving to the listener. With anointing he explains how to live daily in the more that Holy Spirit has for every believer. Whether a person has a Pentecostal/charismatic background or a non-charismatic viewpoint Rob’s teaching can greatly deepen your experience with Christ.

Excellent and Inspiring

This book stirred up such a longing in me for more of God and taught me practical ways to seek the Holy Spirit. I really appreciate the style -- easy to follow but filled with such depth. I will listen again and again when my spiritual life starts to feel dry. Excellent and inspiring book!

Read in a Captivating Storytelling Style

The voice of the audible version of River Dwellers is no other than its author, Rob Reimer. The way he reads is captivating, believable and is easy to comprehend and digest even with higher narration speeds.
River Dwellers made me look deeply into my own life because I cannot lead in ministry unless I am constantly in the River. It gave real life examples of how to evaluate our lives to know if we are on the right track as well as how to get back in the River. Being in the River is the most important focus in a life of a Christian, not just a leader.
Listening to this book made me thirsty for the presence of God and to persevere on the quest of being in His constant presence even if it took more time than I would like it to take. Dr. Reimer also gives ideas for a “long-term-plan. River Dwellers motivated me to tell every Christian how their lives can have real meaning, how their faith can have power and purpose and how much different our journeys would be if we made an effort to pursue God.

Deeper Understanding

First off, I love that Dr Rob Reimer read the book himself. It brings the book to life. The real stories bring a depth of understanding on ‘how to’ lean into the different ways we can come to understand, and discern, the voice of God for our lives - and the lives of others.

If you’re looking to tune in your discernment to hearing God more clearly - this book will give you many practical examples.

If you’re wondering if we actually have the honor of hearing the Voice of our Savior, this book just may convince you of that joy, and actuality.

My favorite part of this book, was the reminder to live in the river, not to ‘just visit’ the river from time. It’s a captivating- smooth read.
