No longer interesting couldn't finish

Very confusing beginning. The interesting stories turn into sophmoric lkve story. When we last left Jesse he was dating the Key West detective. This book begins with him chasing an unknown character/love interesting and has our hero acting like a love sick teenager. I have read and enjoyed every book in the series, but only but this offering just killed it.for me
