How does one make a VR game more interesting? Program self-learning NPC's in it!

Despite being the ruler of a largely despised race, the young demon king, Jin Vel Frey, was able to lead his people in harmony for the past five years. The Priyan Kingdom prospered unceasingly under his rule — an impressive feat he made possible with the help of luck, knowledge, and fate.

Unfortunately, the peace didn't last forever. The United Federation of Human Nations — an in-game faction predominantly formed by players of the human race — has issued a mass raid quest in order to quell every single demon-infested area around the Altrius Continent, the Priyan Kingdom included. Programmed with great knowledge but deprived of the ability to combat, the juvenile NPC demon king couldn't do a single thing against the invading players.

Consequently, the Priyan Kingdom fell. Death would've been Jin's retribution for this grave failure, a final requiem for his sins...

If only everything were real... and he's not, basically, an unkillable NPC—

This was a good start to the story. I love underdog MC and this one was certainly a unique storyline. I’d be interested to see what happens next. I hope the author has revived good feedback so he’ll continue the story. The word choices weren’t very deep but that’s explain at the end. Yet, I don’t think it took away from the storyline at all. He was still able to paint pretty decent characters. The world descriptions were too shallow in my opinion, but again. Not enough to distract or detract from the story.

Nice start
