Nothing said awkward at the next office Christmas party like giving the ok to slice and dice your partner before hopping on the elevator to kill another member of your team. No one was going to remember Max did it to save lives, the team would only be able to focus on the lives he helped take. It wasn’t like he felt good about what he had to do, but the deck was stacked against him now, and Max had to start looking out for number one. That and he needed a way out of this damn building.
