Acerca de esta escucha

Most self-help books encourage you to think differently, to think yourself thin, imagine a richer self or visualize the perfect you. This is difficult and time consuming and often doesn’t work.

Drawing on a dazzling array of scientific evidence, psychologist Richard Wiseman presents a radical new insight that turns conventional self-help on its head: simple physical actions represent the quickest, easiest and most powerful way to instantly change how you think and feel. So don't just think about changing your life. Do it.

This is the second book of Richard’s that I’ve read. The first was “59 seconds or less” which I found very interesting. The concept of this book is different to the first but some of the content Carrie’s over to this book.

This book expands on some of the ideas in the first and covers them in more depth. He also covers a few more topics in this book which I found fascinating.

Overall I really like the content and the dry, witty humour that is sprinkled in all over the place.

Loved it

Will have to listen to the book a second time as there is a lot to digest. The research presented reveals that its more useful to act as if and shift your behaviour - rather than trying to think your way out of undesirable situations. Thinking follows behaviour and emotions follow thinking.

Best self help book I've ever read.
