The town Reverend steps in and says that the sky is black because of all the hatred in the world, namely the hatred surrounding Jagger's execution.

Terrific!
You will NOT want to pause this, once you've started listening. The Twilight Zone "feeling" is there. Great acting, great story, great production. My first 555 rating for a TZ drama (and I listen to these a lot).
