Riley: Mangroves, Moccasins & Murder

Riley is retired. Or, rather he’s escaped from the dark side of the world. The side he can’t talk about. He enjoys his life away from it all. Just he and his wife Carol in the North Georgia Mountains.
When Carol dies, he is devastated and sinks into despair. His life turns into one rum-soaked night of misery after another. Then from his past comes a stirring of old memories. A close friend from his other life has committed suicide. Or, was it murder? His old agency, that never really existed, is also curious about his friend’s death. They like to keep up with their former “associates”. They shake Riley from his stupor and send him into the wetlands of South Florida to investigate his friend’s death. To assist him in his quest they provide him with a souped-up RV equipped with all the latest gadgetry.
Riley plunges into the investigation. The trail leads him into a maze of spies, terrorists and mayhem. To solve the riddle of his friend’s murder, Riley must return to his old way of life, or his failure will leave him dead among the mangrove trees of South Florida.
