Life as a true crime author is going good for Phaedra. She has her man, her book is about to turn into a movie, and she has two obedient hostages trapped in her basement. But then things take a turn. Her man Faheem seems to be falling for another woman. So Phaedra approaches the woman and issues a petty threat; however, the woman doesn’t take heed so Phaedra has to resort to drastic measures. The only problem is someone else is plotting too—one of her hostages is planning to escape.
