Revenge of the Cat-Sith

A brief story about creative ways to exact vengeance, even if all you have is the power to persuade.

Gharol is a goblin girl, working in a tavern, trying to make some money before heading back to her university.

One evening, the tavern is visited by the ghost of the previous ruler of the land, the evil Cat-Sith wizard Lothar. Lothar is dead now, but has escaped from the hell to which he was banished and can walk the earth again, although in a diminished form. Lothar seeks retribution against the current king of the land, Jend, a former apprentice who led the rebellion against him.

Gharol wants to throw out the ghost-cat, but this Cat-Sith will have his revenge.

The story takes place in the land of Pelsa. It is a stand-alone story and can serve as an introduction to the orc-elf kingdom for those who have not read the Sagas of Pelsa.
