Dystopian Rollercoaster ride!

Revelations is the first C. Dennis Moore book that I have read and have been conflicted at the end – I’m still not sure if I should be glad or mad – to not provide any spoilers I can’t say what has caused this conflict. This story took me on a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions, first you have survivors in a dystopian world who must fight all manner of scavengers just to stay alive, then throw in a survivor who has been in stasis for 50 years. The search for answers to what caused the fall of the world and what caused the 45-year delay in waking up our sleep survivors journey takes Geoffrey and Ashley across what used to be America. This is one of my favorite C. Dennis Moore stories even if each time I think about it I’m emotionally conflicted. I originally read this book in 2018 and now listening to Robin Fowler narrate the updated version it I’m even more impressed with this story.

A well-written story from a good author

Revelations, my seventy-sixth read from author C. Dennis Moore. 11 hrs and 28 mins/601-pages, hands down his best work that has that distinctive Moore flavor. I always look forward to the next work from him. Narrator Robin Fowler makes an excellent book even better. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review."
