To my dear (and long-suffering) reader,
Since their very conception, the words of this biblical book have been strangely labeled, from “horrible apocalyptic future” to “I see nothing prophetic here” (the latter was written with great conviction by a certain Martin Luther).
Although this Vision-Revelation-Prophecy mentions in passing a final destruction (prior to the famous “Judgment Day,” by the way), it devotes barely a verse to it and, moreover, is not written to frighten. So what is this book really about? Ninety-nine percent of it is a revelation of the Lord Jesus and of the Interior Life, of what He asks of each heart, of everything that pleases Him and everything that does not please Him... and of the consequences of not paying attention.
Given the state of the world today, I embarked on this journey with a monumental personal need to refresh John's Vision within myself. That is why I wrote this book: as a personal need rather than a warning... even though the journey has become both for me. The entire Revelation is an intimate and personal word between God and the soul, and although there are things dedicated to believers, it is also an open invitation to those who do not know Jesus.
For the Master,
—Samuel—
