Acerca de esta escucha
She moved home for a simple life, but what she found wasn’t at all what she expected.
Moving back home to Gemstone Bay Inn was the only option for Ruby Colton.
Her dreams and ambitions had failed in Wellington, but she had to make things work for the sake of her child. Gemstone Bay offered a chance to write a new chapter for herself, but then she ran into Jason Ryan, the man she had run away from thirteen years ago.
Being involved again with Jason was the last thing she wanted, but thanks to her meddling siblings and her parents, Ruby finds herself on a project with Jason. Sparks, long dead, reignite and Ruby can’t help but wonder whether she is the only one who feels this way.
Jason
Ruby Colton was the only woman he ever loved, but he wasn’t ready to see her after more than a decade.
She is no longer the same person that left, especially with having a daughter now. Jason seems content being friends, but when a mystery linking their family together and Ruby’s life is in danger, Jason finds himself in the middle of everything.
Would they be able to protect their hearts and long-lost love for each other, or are they going to be torn apart by the deadly secrets of Gemstone Bay Inn someone is trying desperately to keep hidden?
Don’t miss this exciting and adventurous romance.

Poor narration.
Virtual voice mispronounced so many words, names and abbreviations that it was distracting, hard to follow. "ICU" was pronounced as "ice", "ER" as "err". "Gem" as either "gym" or "gem". Given names were not always pronounced the same way. Tenses of verbs were not consistant, even within a sentence or paragraph. Foreign words such as "croissant" were unrecognizable. At one point I was forced to go to Amazon and read portions of the print version to figure out what was going on. The story itself didn't come to a conclusion, the book is continued in another volume. I was frustrated enough that I will not bother reading the sequel.
