It was good

The problem I have with the story is to fold. On one hand, you have an enemy that keeps coming back and keeps coming back and he’s not even the main antagonist so it’s starting to seem a little redundant. And on the other hand, the last couple of books we’ve heard about this trial the Kings over and over again. It’s time for him to actually do the trial.

Such a great extension to the series!

This book makes up for everything that went wrong with book 3. A truly great addition to the series.

Great series, but I hate cliff hanger endings.....

Other than the cliff hanger ending I loved it. Great story and great job as always by Chris and Jess,

This is probably my favorite series from Bruce Sentar. I've enjoyed all of his books, however this is my favorite.

all of his series are awesome but returners defiance is my favorite by far. it's not just a cheap harem story it actually has legs in many layers it's my favorite by far
