In 2010 my wife, our young daughter, and a good friend of mine embarked on the journey of a lifetime. We chose the famous Appalachian Trail (AT) as our destination to make personal history. Being experienced hikers, and my friend and I being ex-military, we were well prepared for the hike ahead. My wife and I had some idea of what we were all getting into, but this was the first AT visit, for my friend and my daughter. I kept day-by-day journal entries of those 24 adventurous days, and 12 years later have turned those into this book.

Book 1 of a new series I have titled, "An Appalachian Trail Adventure". No doubt, the hike would be challenging and even more so for my daughter and my friend. "The trail" can be an unforgiving and dangerous place. And on this adventure, we experience it all! A real-life outdoor adventure that has never been told to the world...until now. Read the author's personal thoughts that were written 12 years ago, as it happened. Read about the countless "angels" on the trail that the author and his group ran into that increased the likelihood of their success, from the human side to the celestial side.

The computer reader constantly refers to the “at” instead of the “A.T.” It only got worse from there. Atrocious writing.

Why even publish this?

Yeah, this should have just stayed a private travel journal. Not interesting in the slightest, made worse by having a AI narrator. Just all around lazy.
