Wonderful guide
Not only did this book provide a lot of information about how to help your loved ones with dementia, it is also written in such an empathetic way that takes you step by step through this sometimes overwhelming and challenging process. The audiobook is truly comprehensive, from what is dementia, to keeping your home safe and comfortable for your loved one, to coping with challenging moments with patience and respect, to end of life planning. I also liked a lot that they focused on emotional support and self care because it reminded me that caregivers also need help. The advice on setting up routines and managing behavior was helpful and easy to implement. It was reassuring to read guidance that understands the daily worries of caregivers so intimately. Thank you ever so much for this thoughtful audiobook!
