Resumen del Editor

From a brilliant new literary voice, a collection of stories that follow a young woman from college into her early thirties - from delayed adolescence to (delayed) adulthood. Through college, careers, love affairs, and marriages, Linden’s characters try to sort out what separates the passing from the permanent, the actual from the possible, and exactly how involved you really have to be in the basic questions of your life. From familiar patterns like ambiguous friendships, uncertain love affairs, and unfulfilling jobs, Linden has created something new: a sharp and intimate take on romance and infidelity, trust and betrayal.

A deadpan narrative, cool and precise, about hesitation and doubt and how to rid your apartment of mice, Remember How I Told You I Loved You? is by turns witty, moving, and darkly humorous.

Remember how I told You I Loved You. By Gilliam Linden
This is a very short read. The book is overall funny but weak in character development. This story has very little detail about anything. Cute read but defiantly not the best selection compared to other books.

A Little Gem!

Very refreshing!!

I don’t understand why this lovely little book has not received a wider readership and/or more 5 star reviews!

The book consists of a number of little vignettes, short pieces loosely interconnected. No plot, really, so don’t look for one! Just little slices of the lives of several young women, and the inner workings of their minds, especially in connection with their relationships to men...and one another.

To me, this was such a WOMAN thing, adorable and funny, and I could totally relate! Overall, the book was intelligent and well written, and the narration right on: I love Kate Rudd, who is the perfect narrator for this.

I’m only sad to see that there are not more books available from this author. I originally read this on Kindle Unlimited, and consequently bought it so I can have it in my library. Also, thought it would be nice to do something to support the author.

I’ve Listened to it twice already, and could easily listen again. Makes me want to start writing again, if only in my journal which, come to think of it, this book kind of is somewhat like a journal, with the musings of women! ☺️
