Does a killer deserve redemption? Michael Vincent believes he doesn’t. But can he ignore the discovery of his mate or the menace threatening his former pack as a chance for atonement?
Desperate to escape the memories of the horrific acts committed against his former pack, Michael Vincent has spent the last year running as a tormented lone wolf. Fearful for his weakening humanity, he returns to human form, but chooses to live in solitude, deep in the Rochfort Mountains. When he discovers his mate, a fragile hope slowly begins to ease the burden of the guilt he bears, but the evil that splintered his former life is casting its shadow anew, forcing Michael to reunite with his pack mates as they brace to confront a terror thought long buried.
Released is book two of the Turning Moon series, where friendship and love are both tested and discovered as supernatural beings join forces.

The narrator did a brilliant job of making each character have distinct voices. I like when I can picture male versus female characters as I listen even though it is just one person doing the narration.
The story is engaging. It has all the elements that I love in a book: characters to cheer for, a love story, action, and redemption. This book focuses on Michael Vincent who was controlled by the evil werewolf in the first book, Bound. He's learning to live with the actions he committed while he was under a spell by keeping separate from his former pack.
The best part about this series is even if you aren't into werewolves, witches, vampires, or demons, the characters of the story make you want to read on. In that way, I compare these books to the Twilight series, because the books took away my fear of monsters. Not all werewolves and vampires want to kill humans just for sport or food. Even though I knew it was fiction or fantasy, I was a chicken and avoided the genre. With werewolves like Michael Vincent, I want to join his pack.
I didn't want to stop listening.
