Cecil McGee and Turner "Bubba" Teague are two slacker good old boys who rent a double-wide trailer in Azle, Texas. couple of good ol boys saving the world
easy listen as odd couple finds find their curse to attract evil activated and highlighted by an ancient evil resurrecting itself. redemption abounds as the body account accrues. And an old character reunion to spice up the tale. origin of how friends meet up initially. the narrator Gene Blake excellent work provided southern feel to the collection of stories

Fun Collection of Cecil and Bubba
Redneck Curse is a fun collection of Cecil and Bubba tales. My favorite one was Cecil and Bubba Meet the Thang, alghough Cecil & Bubba meet a Succubus is great as it provides the back story for their curse. I liked the preview of Southern Fried Hex and how it provided us with how Cecil and Bubba met. I look forward to more Cecil and Bubba.
I enjoy when horror authors don't take themselves so seriously and can incorporate comedy into their work. I believe that is an art that few are successful at. Terry does a great job melding the two genres and has created two exceptional characters that I enjoy their antics while they try to navigate through life.
Gene Blake did a great job narrating. I think he provided the voices needed for each character and really put me into the story. He put a lot of energy into his narration and I think that is what helped me to really enjoy the story.
