The reader is so ill-prepared and amateurish that at times I thought he was sounding out the words phonetically. The price may be right, but you should shell out the extra bucks for a reading of Hammett's best novel that has real authority and flair.

The reader was the least professional I have ever encountered. It was a waste of a credit. The story was great as far as I could stand the reading, but I’ll here to finish it either by reading it myself, or finding another version. I can’t believe you released this version or paid this guy to read it… slurring words, stumbling over words, hesitating mid sentence! Jeezuz!

The reader was either drunk or in too much of a hurry.
