Is That Me or is That You God?

Here is something new for all “how to” books on hearing God’s voice. Start with the fact that all of God’s children already hear His voice, and build on that. According to Romans 10:9, if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and have confessed Him as your Lord, you are born-again. If you are born-again, then you are one of Jesus’ sheep, and if you are one of His sheep, you hear (not might hear) His voice.
Whether you think you hear His voice or not, God (who cannot lie) says you do. So, the first step is to agree with God, and say what He says about you. You do hear His voice, you always have, you just have not recognized His voice yet. When you begin to recognize His voice, then you will know that you have always heard His voice, you just thought it was you at the time.
It is vital that we recognize God’s voice to operate in the Gifts of the Spirit, to live by faith, and to be led by the Spirit in ministry, and in our daily lives. God in us knows everything, and we get to partake of His omniscience.
