I can't remember reading a better or more engaging retelling of sacred scripture with a contemporary feeling. Regardless of faith tradition his intelligent design motif, express trinitarian lords and split Lucifer (as dark Lord and archangel) make for a wild ride. Also, the angelic desire idea makes him unique in my opinion. Conway understands the psychology of fear and failure, and their relation to love and faith.
