Harwood joins Team Valid, whose mission is to kill the family members of terrorists and eliminate their seed from the earth. Team Valid, consisting of Hinojosa, Harwood, a Navy SEAL sniper, and a Marine Force Recon sniper, travels to Crimea, Iran, and Azerbaijan before realizing the mission is not what it seems. Harwood struggles to balance his orders with his sense of right and wrong - without losing his life in the process. As Samuelson is implicated in the Camp David ambush, it is a race to protect his remaining family and uncover the sinister plot in the homeland.

great book

this was a great book I really enjoyed it the plot was great just like the last one and it even referanced it loved it

A much stronger book than the first one!!!

This book was worth a listen. The story was not bad , but I liked seeing a new perspective. The main several main characters being black and a woman as the bad guy was a refreshing change. it had some issues but worth a read.

Good book

I liked the book. Liberal minded people would hate the book. Probably hit close to home with them.
Can we say Hilary Clinton like character.

excellent thriller

This is the new Tom Clancy series I feel. Very nice to have a guy know what he's talking about when writing for entertainment.

Absolute must read!

Loved it. finished it in a single day. Turned it on when I got to work. Didn't turn it off till it ended.

not a continuation of the war stories

if you are looking for a continuatio of the Reaper's stories of Iraq and Afghanistan this is not the book for you. Irving has turned his attention to writting fictions based on the skills of being a sniper. I initially was going to return the purchase for credit, but was intrigued by Itving's writing style. overall it was a very good book.

Adrenaline charged conspiracy...

When over twenty people are murdered at Camp David it is deemed a terrorist attract. The ambushed people included presidential cabinet members and secret service. Within minutes a live video is broadcast of Vick Harwood's friend and spotter taking his own life. Within hours Vick's friend (Sammie) is implicated in the attack.
Shorty after, a man in tactical gear breaks into Harwood's home and tried to kill him. Harwood is also known as the Reaper for his many sniper kills. One little guy is not going to take him down.
Was all of this for one target with the rest collateral damage or was everyone there actually supposed to die? And is it foreign or domestic?
Harwood is then sent on a bogus revenge mission not knowing that he too is a target. Harwood's adopted daughter is also targeted in order to get to him.
All the while Vick doesn't believe Sammie killed himself nor that he would commit this crime.
Back in the states Vick teams up with Sammie's sister but street and traffic cameras make it almost impossible for them not to be found.
Add in some underhanded politicians and gang members and what you have is an action packed nonstop conspiracy that keep you on the edge from beginning to end.
Brian Troxell does an outstanding job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

I love all the Reaper series I have a collection.

Vick Harwood needs a TV series honestly, mainly for those who don't read. I have all the Reaper 33 books and a few audiobooks, I listen to at work. I love sniper books, especially anything to do with Army Rangers. To the rest of the Rangers (my father, and Uncle Moose) RLTW.

Loved it!

More badassery, more grit and juicy detail than Nick’s first entry into the series. I can’t wait to listen to the next one. For the pearl-clutchers in other reviews, you just understand Nick is 100% American, which may be taken as conservative. However, the politics portrayed here were simply analogous to the real-life, factual and horrible events which occurred toward the administration at the time.
