I Was Ready.....
I selected "READY OR NOT" because I was "READY" to enjoy another 5-star book by Alex Lake.
Unfortunately, "READY OR NOT" was a "NOT" for me. . I listened to the first 5 chapters before returning the book to Audible.
Life is too short to listen to 1-star books.
Alex Lake is a talented writer so I am not sure what happened. Alex Lake's "THE CHOICE "(released in 2020) was a 5-star read for me and, to date, is my favorite title by this author.
The narration, BTW, was awful, so there is "NOT" anything positive to say about this disappointing title.

Not!
Truly awful in every way! Poor narration, ridiculous Swiss cheese plot full of holes, bad writing, lack of editing, and an obvious perpetrator identifiable very early on. The book just dragged on and on, I thought it would never end. The biggest mystery in this book...where is the book's editor? Maybe he/she was one of the murder victims of the Crucifix Killer!!??
This is utter drivel and a huge waste of time and money. I can't believe this book was published. I can't believe I listened to the whole thing! Ready or not...run far, far away, and take your credits with you.
