This book is an updated and expanded 10th anniversary edition of Scott Wilson's best-selling book, Ready Set Grow: 3 Conversations to Lasting Growth in Your Church. Scott returns with two new chapters of breakthrough insights he's learned since Ready Set Grow was first published.
When Scott first became pastor of Oaks Church, it had been stuck at 650 in attendance for a decade. Three times, the church had grown to 900. But all three times, it dropped back down to 650. That was the hole in their bucket. The first nine chapters tell the story of how Scott and Oaks Church moved the hole in their bucket from 650 to over 1,000 in three years. During the next three years after breaking 1,000, the Oaks continued to apply the principles they'd learned and saw radical growth: 500 the next year, 500 the second year, and 300 the third. But then, they hit another hole in their bucket and couldn't rise above it. No matter what they did, they were stuck-again.
In this book, Scott shares what he learned from this second plateau experience. It's simple, but powerful, and applicable to churches of all sizes that find themselves stuck. This book will not only help you and your church grow: it will help you multiply.
