Fun compilation

Great listen, unique new story from Laura Greenwood. Enjoyed the different stories. Great narration but had to slow down from usual listening speed with accent.

Collection of three stories that have the same characters, but are each standalone. The stories are interesting and have unique characters

Rats

An interesting story of people who are considered less trying to make a better world no matter the cost. This was a quick enjoyable listen with some pretty nice narration.

Fun Steampunk RH

I really enjoyed this collection of steampunk reverse harem short stories, the three stories together make for a good quick read. All three stories focus on Tori and her husbands - Baxter, Edwin, Archie, and Harvey.

We're taken on a new journey/adventure in each of the stories. I love the world and seeing it through the eyes of Rats, the lowest of the low in society. Yuletide of Rats is my favourite of the three stories but I liked them all.

Nicole Payten-Betts's narration was great. Each character was clear and it was easy to follow.

Enjoyable Short Stories by Laura Greenwood

I thought this compilation was pretty good, with 3 short stories featuring Tori and her harem of Rats. I liked the steampunk aspect of the stories, anticipated the low amount of romance/heat because of Laura's other stories, but liked the focus of each of them. I did kinda get a little discombobulated with the jumping around in the timeline so much. I wish these had been longer stories and we got to see some of the in between (like the men becoming her husbands).

I liked the narrator, she was new to me. Nicole did a good job with the various voices, I could tell the guys apart, so that got a thumbs up from me. I also liked her inflections, especially in the final story out of the three.

It was nice to have a pallet cleanser. Definitely for people needing something different and focused on the story over any romance.

Steampunk Rh at its best

I love Tori and her band of misfits. This collection of stories follows them on their adventures to change society. This was a fun listen with a great imaginative world. I really loved the narration on this one I think I could listen to her all day.

fairly good story

Found the story to be fairly good. The time skip definitely threw med off a bit between the stories as well.

Narration-wise, I think it could have been better. Had it been done in a different style I think I would have enjoyed it more.

Ruler of Rats
This is the prequel to a new series about to come out and it was the perfect way for us to get use to the world building and the characters. While short it is just enough to give us a view of some of what is to come.
Collector of Rats
This is the second book in the Rats series and we watch as Tori deals with the fact that the rats are running out of money. Tori and her husbands decide to collect on a large debt. This is a excellent short read for the lunch break
Yuletide of Rats
Yay we get to see Tori and her husbands solve the mystery of who is killing those most at risk rats. While this story can be read as a stand alone and not lose any understanding why would you want to miss out on Tori's other stories.
