After getting engaged and learning she was pregnant, Lyric and Apollo take their relationship to the obvious next step by deciding to live together. That decision causes them to learn more about each other as Lyric navigates her pregnancy journey. What they find raises questions as to where they stand with one another and how strong their relationship really is. As Lyric learns what life may be like as Apollo’s wife, she starts to wonder if she is losing herself in the process.
Apollo is still finding his way regarding being in a committed relationship. Although he only has eyes for Lyric, he is still learning how to be respectful of his commitment without diminishing the value of his brand. But soon he has to decide what’s more important; and when the person that had the most impact on his personal life steps back into play, his true character will be revealed. Can this unlikely couple really have a lifetime of love or will the reality of what lies ahead be the destruction of all they have built?

Whew chile!!

Whew chile! The back and forth between Apollo and Lyric was exhausting. It seemed like they would never get on the same accord. My favorite part of the book was them talking about different relationship topics and viewpoints on the podcast. Overall, I enjoyed seeing how they would navigate through their differences.

Compromise required

Someone please write a book where sex is not the answer to everything if I’m mad I don’t want you touching me but every single book that bull is the answer instead of facing the real problems
