Paranormal romance

Ramiel by Brenda Trim and Tami Julka is an amazing paranormal romance. Alex Black did an incredible job with the narration. The story is romantic, entertaining, interesting and more. Ramiel is the 15th book in Dark Warriors series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Ramiel and Zakara

The fifteenth installment of the Dark Warrior Alliance series. The book centers on Ramiel, the Angel of Retribution, who must seek the help of the sassy demoness Zakara to gain passage to Hell to rescue a kidnapped child named Isobel. The storyline is designed to be well-written and engaging, focusing on the character development of both Ramiel and Zakara as they work through their respective challenges to achieve their "happy ending." A compelling plot, strong character dynamics, and a satisfying conclusion for readers. I enjoyed listening to Alex Black narrate their story.

Ramiel book 15 of The Dark Warrior Alliance by Brenda Trim and Tami Julka is an amazing story and a great addition to the series. It has a bit of everything to keep the reader entertained and the narrator Alex Black does an incredible job in bringing these characters to life. Highly recommend!

retribution

This one is pure chaos in the best way. Ramiel is supposed to be the perfect Angel of Retribution, all rules and duty, but the second Isobel gets dragged into the Underworld, everything unravels. Suddenly he’s fighting through Hell itself and forced to team up with Zakara, a Fallen Angel who is way too tempting for someone who’s supposed to keep his halo polished.

The tension here is heavy it’s not a light, fluffy romance. It’s dark, urgent, and full of that forbidden pull that makes you yell at the characters while still rooting for them. The battles are brutal, the attraction is messy, and the payoff is worth the ride.

🎧 Audiobook note: Alex Black’s narration fits the mood perfectly. He brings grit to the fights and a sultry edge to the quieter moments. It’s immersive without being over the top.

Heads up: you’ll probably need the earlier books in the Dark Warrior Alliance series to really get what’s happening here. The world-building is layered, and this one doesn’t slow down to explain.

Bottom line: If you’re already invested in the series, this is a solid, high-stakes installment. Angels, demons, temptation, and a whole lot of danger exactly what you’d expect from Brenda Trim at book fifteen.
