Ralph led a simple life. Go and see his girlfriend when she called for him to come over. Drink beer with his posse on Saturday night. Smoke a little weed now and then. And just have fun like anyone else trying to avoid adulthood as long as possible. But then Ralph got himself killed up on that dark mountain road and suddenly found himself on the wildest journey through space and time imaginable. And worse, everybody wanted something from him and at the top of the list was for him to grow up, fast.

Sure. Meeting a talking deer from Brooklyn wasn’t all that strange. And he certainly didn’t judge a crazy old man wearing a top hat waving around a magic wand. After all, he had seen odder things while imbibing questionable substances at neighborhood parties. But after meeting Esmeralda the fully unclothed succubus with the cute devil horns and a pointy tail, Ralph didn’t know what to believe. He wasn’t even sure if she was mildly amused by him or simply wanted to eat him.

And after acquiring a sarcastic talking Sword of Legend who thought it great fun to blow holes in mountain tops on Mars and being sort of adopted by an insane dire werewolf plagued by ghost fleas, he was all set to seek out the truth of his situation. Unfortunately for his journey of self-discovery, he managed to rain on the parade of the local demon gang and their plans to take over pretty much everything, causing them to turn their full attention toward him.

Can Ralph succeed in stopping all out war between good and evil and the destruction of the known universe? Umm, maybe? And who is the dark shadowy figure behind it all? Who knows? But Ralph will have lots of help trying to find out, from a host of unlikely characters including The Archangel Michael, Dorothy of Oz fame, Arnie the giant green demon, the parade attendees from the Wayne Nebraska Chicken Dance Festival, the entire heavenly host, and many, many others.

Mostly though, Ralph just wanted to find a good back scratcher. Because the itching from whatever was growing out of his back was driving him crazy.
