Resumen del Editor

Exposes how public schools are teaching Critical Race Theory disguised as innocuous "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" initiatives, explains why this is training a generation of children to view themselves as victims, and shows parents what they can do to stop it.

Public schools are indoctrinating a generation of children to see themselves as either victims of systemic racial oppression or members of a wicked oppressor class. Leonydus Johnson, a black writer and podcaster, exposes the poisonous ideology embedded in "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" programs. We must teach our children the truth that their identity comes not from their race but from Christ.

Thorough, honest

Best book I’ve read addressing CRT! This is a courageous and fair minded analysis of CRT.

equity versus equality

I particularly liked his explaination of equity as backwards looking and therefore reduces to the lowest common denominator in education while equality is foreward looking and therefore allows the individual to exell.

Sowell’s heir?

For much of the book I could be forgiven for thinking I was listening to Thomas Sowell, except for the mentions of Harry Potter and Avatar the Last Airbender! A millennial twist on Sowell is still a blessing in this day and age. Also, not sure what a “piece of the pie” fallacy, pretty sure he meant “zero sum fallacy”. So not the economist Sowell was, and quite a few more references to faith. Heard him on the Babylon Bee podcast and immediately bought this. Sign me up for Leonydus’ next book!

His love for his children shines through.

If you have ever wondered why there was any controversy over things like Critical Race Theory, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, The 1619 Project, etc. buy this book. The author lays bare the tactics of those who push these initiatives. (ex. Proponents say, "Critical Race Theory is not TAUGHT in schools." True. But it IS designed to be IMPLEMENTED in schools and is.) I appreciate a book that is well organized, logical, and witty, and this book hits every mark but its primary feature is its heart. The author's motivation, his love for his children and yours and mine, shines through on every page. This book is not your typical political argument on paper. It is a dad giving his all to defend his children from harmful ideologies. 5 stars.

Great premise and delivery

This book offers great insight into the victim culture perpetuated by liberal politics in America, particularly in regards to race. It’s a great read for people of all ages, and is especially empowering to young people seeking to navigate a turbulent cultural-political climate fraught with the dangers of media sensationalism, groupthink, and the degradation of free speech. The author does an excellent job of dismantling the fallacies involved in racially-driven propaganda and encouraging listeners to make free and clear judgements on racial inequality in the contemporary United States.

Leaves CRT in the dust!

Excellent book dissolving CRT, with facts and intelligent arguments. This is the way forward for all people who want to achieve a colorblind society.
Amazingly well constructed!

The farce of victimization

Excellent presentation of what true reality is and what it is not. Fortitude and intellectual honesty is seriously lacking in our present society.
