She also authors several devotional books and independent novels.

The Seeking Heart series was inspired by Melanie’s own high school and college days and her time working at a summer youth camp where she enjoyed serving in ministry to girls of all ages and also met her husband. Their enjoyment of full-time ministry continues to this day.
