In response to their illnesses and deaths, Michelle overcompensated in relationships and work over a span of 35 years, trying to numb the empty space in her heart.

Radiance signifies the discovery of her Inner Goddess, her light, her joy, love itself. Stories of struggle intertwined with resiliency, a strong commitment and dedication to healing, combined with constant mindfulness and self-awareness, she began to name and claim the old stories when they came up. She chose self-compassion and creatively "built" a new narrative. Now she lives that narrative.
