The 'Quest System' continues to open up more and more dungeon portals on Earth, but luckily, 100 plus people with the system spread throughout the world have managed to keep the world from devolving into chaos...so far. However, the difficulty of the dungeons are beginning to rise, and the need for more 'Quest System' users is rising, while the level of atmospheric magic continues to increase.

With the increased number of dungeon portals that have started to appear, John decides that it would be a good idea to recruit some new people to run the ever increasing dungeons. After getting some new dungeon runners, they are able to manage the dungeons in the U.S. for now, but the same cannot be said for the rest of the world, and he knows it's only a matter of time before other countries ask for their assistance.

Good follow up

Once again well done Michael Lopez I appreciate your style of writing, the story was well fleshed out for a system-related book I liked the MC and I'm glad you didn't try to give the MC a romantic relationship...thanks keep them coming.

Worth the listen

Like the story the only thing I feel like it’s missing is that the main character lacked growth but every other character seems to be growing. Very enjoyable still and would totally recommend it and read the next one if it comes out.

I enjoyed listening to this. It reminds me of Superman in the interrogation room occasionally. It was overall a good story pretty well told

Good continuation from this book series. Unfortunately, the AI dictation was not that good. It made many mistakes either it was taken from mistakes in the original writing or it just for some reason read the wrong word. Example is stuff like him or her, there are many other examples of the use of the wrong word.

Solid story with enough questions to keep me interested. It does have a lot of the hallmark tropes of LITRPG, but doesn't lean on them so heavily that it destroys the story or makes it entirely predictable.

The story continues but the narration is dismal

Quest System Earth 2: Developing picks up right where the first book left off, expanding the world, raising the stakes, and diving deeper into the quest system mechanics. The series continues to blend modern Earth with game elements in a way that’s fun, fast-paced, and easy to follow. If you enjoyed the first installment, the story here keeps the momentum going with solid progression and new challenges.

However, the virtual voice narration has noticeably declined in quality compared to the first audiobook. There are even more mispronunciations, unnatural pauses, and flat, robotic delivery throughout the listening experience. Emotional beats and action scenes lose their impact, and the characters all sound virtually identical, making it harder to stay immersed in the story.

It’s clear that the virtual narrator struggles to match the energy and tone of the writing—something that stands out even more as the stakes get higher in Book 2.
