WARNING: This is a sequel to Openings. It is another Epic LitRPG book with Christian themes. Fictional game rules and mechanics matter, and so do the beliefs of the characters. If you can't handle troop level battles, player powers, multiple players' perspectives, and character stats in text, you might not like this book. If you can't stand Christianity, you might have a problem with this one. All that said, the story is pretty awesome so you'll probably like it anyway. But you've been warned!
(Spoilers ahead for “Openings” the first book in the series)
Adding Allies
When Jeremy decided to get revenge on the world, his friend Chris stood up to stop him. Powerful forces took notice. Now the two teenagers plus two friends each have been pulled into the Divided Lands. In this game world created by Heaven and Hell to settle ‘disputes,’ the two sides have been trying to conquer and create alliances every chance they’ve gotten.
A World Made For Battle
The Divided Lands was built by famous authors and game designers from both the divine and the diabolical domains. Volunteers to play NPCs were taken from the depths of Hell and the heights of Heaven. Together, these elements form a game that is part RPG and part civilization building. With such a huge world to dominate, allies and conquests are essential.
A Key Queen
Queen Theodora of Pius has become a beautiful and powerful pawn in the battle between Chris’s good alliance and Jeremy’s evil one. But there is more to this conflict than meets the eye. Jeremy’s interest seems like it might be more creepy than strategic. Chris is far across the map and can only help so much. While the novice queen find a way to serve the Godly side at a distance, or will she fall into the waiting darkness right beside her?
