What an exciting life I have led! I have had the privilege of being involved in the expanding of the Kingdom of God for more than 40 years. But this story is a tale of a young man who did not want God and certainly had no intention of being a “gospel preacher”. I had other plans, and talking to people about someone I was not totally convinced even existed was not on my radar!

However, God had a plan.

I never pursued God, but throughout my early life, I sensed a bigger purpose, or destiny, that in some ways haunted me. It was as if something was standing beside me that made every endeavor I set out to accomplish seem unfulfilling and insignificant. I always believed there was something else out there I was supposed to achieve, if only I knew what it was. I had no clue. Whatever it was, it felt like it was “something important”.

This book is my account of finding that “something important”. It is essential to note that this is not a laborious description of how I really went after God and was such a holy, righteous man that I secured “special blessings”. It is exactly the opposite. It is an account of how God acted on me and apprehended me and has continued to do that throughout my life. He has always been the one with a plan, not me.
