Great book,
Nice story about navy pilots and it keeps you wanting to read more. This was the third in the series and I want more Mr Carroll. Great writing.

It was good but
It was good story. It takes place at the beginning of the Afghan war. Pink get shoot down and has to be part of the special operation group working in Afghanistan. It’s an interesting story.
Soup returns. Every job has a Soup. I was hoping Soup would have gotten his wings clipped.
Over all, it was an interesting story.

The Strongest of the fist 3 books…
Ward Carrol Really knows his stuff… when it comes to flying the F 14, and live aboard the boat. When I read the best cover of the book, I was concerned that Ward was going to dive into a topic that he didn’t really know.
Wow…I was wrong. This audio book is fantastic. Ward does a great job trying to explain special forces ground activities, including those of the CIA, while in the sandbox… in the early days.

3rd “Punk’s” novel I’ve listened to
This is the 3rd “Punk’s” novel I’ve listened to. All 3 were great!
I’m sure it’s pretty good to civilians, but if you are a veteran, especially Navy or involved with anything to do with aircrew, tactical air control or pilots, the Punk series will partially draw you in almost as if you’re there.
The narration is great. The voices are changed just enough to sound different but not too much as to over dramatize. I can’t say enough about how well written and authentic this series is.

Book III in the series rocks!
Punk Fight was one of the best pieces of fiction I have ever heard! This is a book (and series) that is definitely movie worthy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
