Some churches exclude women from ministry leadership roles based on a few difficult to interpret Scripture passages. Some churches also teach the Holy Spirit's gifts were only necessary until the canon of Scripture was completed—therefore, supernatural gifts like prophecy should not be pursued today.

What if the full inclusion of women in church leadership and the exercise of the gift of prophecy combine two vital elements for a healthy, unhindered church? What if the gospel reaches more people with its liberating, transformative power when we acknowledge and support women called to leadership and when we fully embrace prophetic ministry?

I highly recommend that any leader or pastor read this book. At least once, it will help you understand prophecy which in return will make you a better leader. This is a book that will be on repeat in my house. It was simple and relatable. Highly recommend. There are few books that offer as much as this one. I’m asking for the paper copy for Valentine’s Day to add to my library.
