By the time that Donald Trump left after one term in the White House, America's democracy was perilously close to destruction. The United States government survived only through the effort of a few key Republican elected and appointed officials in federal, state, and local governments throughout the country. These loyal Americans courageously did the jobs that they had sworn to do, even in the face of intense political pressure, threats, and attempts at intimidation designed to undermine our democracy throughout the four years of the Trump presidency, and to ultimately hand Trump a second term in the White House even though he had lost the 2020 election.
These are the Profiles in Courage of those who did what was right, often at a high personal and political cost. These individuals collectively stand as a legacy and inspiration to all of us for generations to come.

Excellent book
It’s heartening to set aside all the negativity and attack against our government, to take some time To remember the true heroes of the Trump era. Senator and congressman and top officials who lost their jobs due to their opposition to trumps crimes, judges, prosecutors, doctors, Etc. it will give you a more balanced view of what really happened and who really stood fast against the wannabe dictator
